A revolutionary new transport scheme giving members a folding bike to use at anytime. The Brompton Dock is a smart store which holds up to 40 Brompton folding bikes.

Become a member and you can use your smartcard to take a Brompton bike from the Dock whenever you like, for as long as you like.

As well as being comfortable and stylish to ride, the bikes can be folded to go on other forms of transport and stored securely in an office, a car boot – just about anywhere.

There’s no maintenance, no lugging heavy security locks around and, because the bikes can be folded and stored almost anywhere, there’s no wasting time trying to find somewhere to leave it at the end of the journey.

When you return the bike to the Brompton Dock, your usage is calculated by the smartcard and you will be billed each month, so there’s no need to worry about how to pay each time, either.

How the Brompton Dock works

* Turn up at the dock with your membership smartcard. At least 20 docks per city
* Swipe your card just below the card reader screen and it'll display which bay is unlocked
* Take your Brompton bike from that bay.
* Unfold it if you’re riding, or carry it if you’re not, and off you go!
* Keep it folded in your office, take it on the train, take it wherever you want.
* When you’ve finished using your bike, take it back to the Dock and fold it up.
* Swipe your smartcard just below the card reader screen, put the bike in the bay number displayed and close the door firmly.
* You will be charged automatically at the end of the month for the time you’ve used it.

Brompton Dock bike hire is designed to be simple, convenient and excellent value for money. The scheme is fully automated — your smartcard keeps track of your bike usage and you're charged for it at the end of each month.

BIKE HIRE RATES

* 1 month hire (23-31 days hire): €2.00 per day
* Over 1 week (7 days hire): €2.50 per day
* Single day: €3.00 per day

More Importantly the Scheme will cost 1/3 the cost of the propsed regional bike schemes. Saving the tax payer millions!
