Product Information

Vectrix the worlds first high-performance electric maxi-scooter.

'You know oil is running out....why buy a new vehicle where the price of your fuel can only go up over time?'

Compare this to a Bergman or Majesty of similar price and you will see the specification is far superior with superbike suspension, brakes and tyres. You are also buying your fuel into the price

If you are like 95% of people and commute within 20 miles this bike will add eye watering performance and jaw dropping style to your routine. It may well put money back in your pocket too! You know oil is running out....why buy a new vehicle where the price of your fuel can only go up over time?

We are negotiated with local councils to install city centre charging bays which are completely free for you to use. Think of this as a reward for being kind to the environment or a prize for being smart and saving even more money.

The Vectrix is the world's first high-performance electric two-wheel vehicle to offer all the benefits of a traditional petrol-powered scooter but without the noise, pollution, expensive maintenance, frequent oil changes, and regular trips to the dirty petrol station.

The Vectrix is fun to ride and easy to operate. Its top speed of 100 km/h and fast acceleration make it safe and easy to zip in and out of traffic. The onboard charger plugs into any standard electrical outlet to quickly charge the batteries, which provide up to 70 miles (110 km) of travel on a single charge. A low center of gravity and stiff frame provide excellent handling, and the multi-function throttle allows riders to accelerate and slow down with a simple twist of the throttle.

With the Vectrix maxi-scooter you’ll be free to move, free from traffic jams, free from expensive maintenance, free from rising oil prices, free from pollution, and free from guilt about damaging the planet.

The Vectrix scooter was designed to outperform an equivalent 400cc petrol version in almost every way:

* Significantly lower cost of ownership over 4 years
* Cheaper to run – electricity is less than 10% the cost of petrol
* Zero emissions
* Very low noise
* Faster acceleration – Almost 30% faster to 30mph than
a 400cc petrol scooter
* Easier to ride - Stop and go throttle, no gears to shift
* Better handling due to low centre of gravity
* Lower maintenance and less wear and tear due to less
moving parts.
* More convenient – Charge at home or the office (no need
to queue at those dirty inner-city petrol stations)
* Cleaner – in every way...need we say more?
* Exempt from road tax
* Lower insurance - please see our insurance section for
companies that will insure you
* Attractive government incentives and rebates
* Lower licensing and registration fees
* Free parking and charging in many cities

Regenerative Braking

Regenerative BrakingDAaRT Regenerative Multi-Function Throttle Technology

Decelerating Accelerating and Regenerative Throttle provides:

* Forward acceleration
* Provides low speed reverse
* Provides “engine” braking
* Returns power to battery to extend the range (up to 12%)
* Ease of use

The innovative Multi-Function Throttle is the only control you need in most riding situations. Simply twist backwards to accelerate and forward to slow down, reducing your momentum and recharging your batteries and increasing your range by engaging the regenerative braking system, also from a standing position simply twist forward to engage reverse mode.
